Michael C. Bell, DDS - Dentist 
Dr. Michael C. Bell, DDS, is a nationally recognized practitioner of general and cosmetic dentistry in Austin, Texas. He was recently named one of the Best Dentists in America in a new national poll of peer dentists in all 50 states. Dr. Bell was one of only four dentists in Austin selected for the honor, which represents the top three percent of dentists in the country.
Dr. Bell has been a practicing dentist for more than 25 years, focusing on general and cosmetic dentistry, including dental implants. Dr. Bell and his Team are known for their use of the latest technology to provide complete and accurate diagnoses of dental conditions, as well as patient comfort and safety.
Dr. Bell has also been recognized nationally for his extensive community involvement and service and was invited to the White House to be personally thanked by President George Bush for his contributions through the Smiles for Life program. Dr. Bell's Team has participated in the program, which helps seriously ill children, for five years. Locally, the Team has provided free oral cancer screenings to firefighters.
Dr. Bell earned a bachelor's degree in zoology from Texas A&M University in 1975 before receiving his doctorate of dental surgery from the Baylor College of Dentistry in 1978. Upon graduation, Dr. Bell served as a dental officer in the United States Air Force for three years. He was awarded a special commendation medal for his service.
Dr. Bell currently serves on the boards of directors of the Texas Academy of Dental Practice Administration and the Academy of General Dentistry. In addition, he is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Central Texas Academy of General Dentistry, Capital Area Dental Society, Central Texas Implant Study Club, the Crown Council, and is past president of Central Texas Academy of General Dentistry.
In his personal time, Dr. Bell enjoys walking on Town Lake, being with his children Meryl, 23, and Drew, 21, hunting, fishing, reading, and practicing Tai Chi (a moving meditation form).

Theresa Business Office Coordinator and Clinical Coordinator

Theresa manages the business office, scheduling appointments, filing claims, answering the phone and handling the many other tasks that allow our business to run smoothly. A former dental assistant, Theresa uses her skills to help in the treatment area when needed. She also uses her clinical knowledge to analyze situations on the phone so that we are optimally prepared when our patients arrive. Theresa is known by patients and co-workers as a giving person and known outside the office as a fantastic mom to her two sons.
Sarah Business Office Coordinator
11 years of experience, 10 years with Dr. Bell
Sarah is the business office administrator, and she adds a lot of fun to the office while always having a pleasant word for those she is helping, whether it be in person or on the phone. Sarah schedules appointments, answers the phones, and handles insurance claims, among many other office duties. She truly enjoys people and her job.
With her husband Vic, Sarah is dedicated to her family life and to raising her three children. She is also very active in their church.
Carla Chair-side Dental Assistant

Carla is our newest Team member. She started with us in August 2006. She's been a dental assistant for 20 years. Carla and Don are Austinites and have one child and one grandchild of which they are very proud. She enjoys learning new things, working out at the gym, and going places with friends. We know she is a great asset to Our Team!
Debbie Dental Hygienist
30 years of experience, 1.5 years with Dr. Bell
Debbie is our newest hygienist she brings with her a lot of years of experience as a hygienist. She enjoys her work and likes to have fun. Debbie is married to Steve, and they have two grown children and a son at home. In her spare time she enjoys spending time reading and playing with her two dogs.
Lou Ann Dental Hygienist
18 years of experience
Lou Ann is the newest hygienist on the team at Dr. Bell's office. She is very committed to her profession and to her patients. She is very happy to be working in such a high-tech office and feels blessed to have found such a good home.
She and her hysband Jayson have a son Cross. As a family, they like to travel and make frequent trips to Colorado to visit family.
Beckie Chair-side Assistant

Beckie is our newest assistant on the team at Dr. Bellดs office. She enjoys assisting Dr. Bell on all kinds of procedures.
It's important to me to build a relationship with my patients and my co-workers. I am a mother of 3 children. I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
