Dr. Bell’s Credentials

Currently Dr. Bell has restored – or placed teeth over – more than 220 implant fixtures. Dr.Bell works closely with periodontal and/or oral surgeons to place the fixtures in bone. The patient will then return to Dr. Bell’s office, where he will put the teeth on the top of the implant. Please note that Dr. Bell is involved throughout the process to place the implant in the correct position to restore the tooth to as normal function as possible. Dr. Bell first visualizes and directs the placement of the implant by showing the surgeon the desired final position of the tooth or teeth.

In addition to restoring implants, Dr. Bell has recently started to perform the surgical placing procedure of the actual titanium fixtures(root portion)of the implant in less complex cases.  As his experience expands in surgical placement this will become one of our regular services. Just as more complex dental extractions are referred to specialists and more routine extractions are performed by a general dentist; the same concept applies for dental implant placement.
